The SPA, or Secretariat of Prizes and Betting, has reauthorized 7MBR Ltda to operate sports betting and online gaming in Brazil. This follows an 11-day suspension due to missing technical documentation. Ordinance No. 844, published on April 22, formalized the decision. It grants the company permission to operate under the brands Cbet, Verbet, and Fanbit until December 31, 2029.

The license reinstatement follows the compliance of the company with all regulatory requirements. This includes submitting technical certifications for betting systems, remote gaming servers, and system integration. Certifying entities accredited by the SPA must issue the documents. Initially, there were absent when the SPA suspended the license of 7MBR on April 11.
The regulatory action was part of a wider oversight initiative that also impacted Pixbet Soluções Technológicas and TQJ-Par. Pixbet, together with its associated brands Flabet and Bet da Sorte, has since recovered its definitive license.
For the moment, TQJ-Par counts Grupo Sílvio Santos among its shareholders. It has yet to secure final authorization for its platforms Baú Bingo, Tele Sena Bet, and Bet do Milhão. However, it has stated that it remains on track to begin operations in the second half of the year.
7MBR apologized to users for the disruption in a public statement issued during its suspension. It cites, “administrative and bureaucratic challenges” as the cause. The company reassured customers that it was addressing these issues to fully align with Brazil’s updated gambling laws.
Following the recent decision, 7MBR confirmed that operations would resume immediately. In a statement, the company said that everything has been definitively resolved. Their platform will be fully online, and their games will be available again.
The reauthorization falls under Brazil’s fixed-odds lottery legislation, governed by Laws No. 13,756/2018 and 14,790/2023. Decree No. 11,907, issued in January this year, further reinforces it. The SPA, under the Ministry of Finance, ensures that all licensed operators comply with strict technical and operational standards.
