As of September 25, an order prohibits Goldwin Ltd from conducting any gaming operations under its MGA license.

NEXT.io has confirmed that the company’s Westcasino brand does not display the MGA logo or the logo of any other licensing authority on its website.
The MGA said it suspended Goldwin for numerous breaches of its gambling regulations.
Included in these violations are the operators’s actions representing an imminent threat of serious prejudice to the interest of players.
The authorities penalized Goldwin for failing to comply with the applicable obligations of regulatory instruments and other Maltese laws.
The MGA stated that either the operator has failed to meet its commitments to players in a timely manner, or that it believed failure was impending.
The regulator concluded that there was a material and sufficient reason to suspend Goldwin’s gambling authorizations.
Westcasino must still provide existing players access to their accounts during the suspension.
In line with the applicable Maltese law, the business should also refund all customers.
Under Article 43 of the Gaming Act, Goldwin has the option to appeal the decision.
The latest enforcement action against the company behind Westcasino is the license suspension.
The Netherlands Gambling Authority of KSA fined the operator €6.3 million in October of the past year. This is after it ruled the business had been targeting players in the Netherlands.
The investigation of KSA found the business had no technical measures in place to stop Dutch customers from accessing its gaming services.
René Jansen, KSA chair said at the time that they can often quickly put a stop to illegal supply with an order subject to a penalty. This does not mean that previously committed illegal activities disappear from view: they can still be punished.
