Two suspects face numerous charges, including fraud, money laundering, and organized crime. Authorities recently detained them.

Law enforcement recently arrested two influencers suspected of fraudulently promoting an online casino game in Brazil. This is the case of Ianka Cristini and Bruno Martins. They are influencers with more than 15 million followers on social media. Prosecutors accused them of using a demo version of a famous online gambling game. They allegedly promoted the game and profited from commissions on losses by users they referred.
Local media confirmed that authorities arrested the couple on January 14. The MPSC (Public Ministry of Santa Catarina) and Gaeco (Special Task Force to Combat Organized Crime) worked together. Their coordinated efforts led to the detention of the suspects. Reportedly, the two influencers promoted a gambling game called Fortune Tiger. It is well-known in Brazil as Jogo do Tigrinho.
Prosecutors accuse Cristini and Martins of fraud related to famous casino games. They claim the influencers used a demo version of the game, which gave them an unfair advantage.
In addition to Cristini and Martins, authorities recently detained an advisor of Cristini. Law enforcement restricted access to luxury houses and apartments owned by the two following the arrests. Moreover, the authorities blocked access to the social media accounts of the influencers, seized financial assets and luxury cars. These include armored Cadillac Escalade, a McLaren 720 Spider and two BMWs.
The Public Ministry of Santa Catarina released a detailed guide for victims of the alleged fraudulent actions after confirming the influencers’ arrest. Authorities urge those affected by potential fraud related to Jogo do Tigrinho to share information. This includes financial documents proving losses, a description of their case, and whether they intend to file a legal claim.
