1xBet has secured exclusive betting partner rights for PGL‘s Counter-Strike 2 and Dota 2 events.
The Cyprus-based online gambling company has signed the agreement until the end of 2026. This gains broadcasting rights letting it to stream live matches on its own platform.
Furthermore, the agreement will see 1xBet sponsor events operated by the PGL. This will start from February 14 with its Counter-Strike 2 tournament taking place in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
1xBet will advertise during event broadcasts and have its logo integrated into the streams.
A 1xBet representative stated in an announcement that the esports community is fundamental to them. Partnering with PGL is one way for them to reach out and support that community directly.
To the esports industry, 1xBet is no stranger. In the previous year alone, 1xBet collaborated with the likes of Bestia and OG Esports. They partnered on a variety of initiatives.
1xBet continued that they put on tournaments together to help esports reach new people worldwide and share what makes it so cool. That’s key to making esports truly global.
This also isn’t the first time PGL, as well as 1xBet have joined forces. The two parties collaborated, with 1xBet becoming the main partner of last year’s PGL Copenhagen Major.
1xBet has also partnered with numerous event organizers on similar collaborations. In 2023, it collaborated with Skyesports to sponsor an Indian Counter-Strike league that uses a franchise model, Skyesports Masters.
