Following the recent appointments of Didier Drogba and Monami Ghosh, MelBet expands ambassador portfolio with football legend.

MelBet has named former Spain international Andrés Iniesta as its latest brand ambassador. This move continues the operator’s global entertainment and marketing strategy. The goal is to expand MelBet’s international profile.
The collaboration launches a new campaign called “The Greatest 8.” This references Iniesta’s iconic jersey number. The campaign highlights eight core values: Passion, Hunger for Victory, Reliability, Drive, Dynamism, Leadership, Brilliance, and Sincerity.
MelBet states that the campaign will feature giveaways, social media activities, as well as promotional events centered on these themes.
The appointment of Iniesta follows a series of ambassador announcements through MelBet in the current year. Last February, the company unveiled former Chelsea striker Didier Drogba as a brand ambassador. MelBet recently appointed Indian film and television actress Monami Ghosh as the host of its newly launched Night Show.
The operator is planning a series of monthly activations tied to the Iniesta collaboration. These include social media campaigns offering fans the chance to win signed memorabilia like jerseys, footballs, and boots. As part of the initiative, the operator also plans to launch limited-edition gift boxes and promo code raffles.
This announcement comes as many operators are increasingly using sports and entertainment figures to boost brand awareness. For example, Premier Bet recently extended its partnership with UFC Heavyweight Champion Francis Ngannou, naming him its Pan-African ambassador through 2027.
MelBet has not disclosed the duration or financial terms of its deal with Iniesta. Yet, the move positions the operator together with other iGaming firms looking to deepen audience engagement by celebrity-backed campaigns across global regions.
