Evolution and Amusnet, gaming software and solution providers, are reversing the long-established business model. Traditionally, casino games evolved from halls and arcades to the mobile arena.

Both iGaming specialists announced a new strategic collaboration to bring some of their most popular online slots to land-based casinos.
In North America, Evolution is teaming up with Gaming Arts. It will also provide four titles for gaming machines by an agreement that includes its slot-games provider NetEnt. This is while Amusnet is partnering with a leading gaming-hall owner in Bulgaria, inbet.
The top performing online slot of Evolution in the United States is Divine Fortune. It has spawned sequels Divine Fortune Megaways, as well as Divine Fortune Black.
The classic version of Divine Fortune, as well a newly developed sequel Divine Fortune Ascension will both debut in the high-performance MOD EX cabinets of Gaming Arts.
NetEnt’s top global slot, Starburst—owned by Evolution—also saw successful follow-ups with Starburst XXXtreme and Starburst Galaxy.
Starburst will release a two-game multipack for land-based play, featuring the newly created title Starburst Supernova.
The new land-based games will include a multiplayer feature and a new bonus element. It will take players to a hold-and-spin mechanic.
Evolution’s Chief Product Officer, Todd Haushalter, said that since the beginning of online gaming, content has traditionally flowed in one direction, from land-based casinos to online.
He added that the approach made sense, as it brought proven experiences to digital audiences.
Haushalter also stated that what excites them now is reversing that trend by taking some of the most successful games in the history of online gaming and bringing them to land-based casinos.
The CPO also said that Evolution is excited to lead this shift.
This partnership, initiated with their land-based slots partner Bluhare Studios, allows them to bring their world-class IP to the talented team at Gaming Arts. Watching the team work their land-based magic to adapt and reimagine the games has been truly inspiring.
