The Argentine province of Santa Fe has set the deadline for its online sports betting license tender. The province passed the law on December 18 of the previous year. The authorities published it in the Official Gazette on December 29 of the same year. Through Law 14,427, the province is advancing the regulation of the vertical.

The Government of Santa Fe has announced the deadline for submitting bids for the operation and management of online sports betting will close on March 2. Authorities recently released the tender documents for Public National and International Tender No. 104/25.
The tender states that the Caja de Asistencia Social – Lotería de Santa Fe and the Undersecretariat for Procurement and Asset Management are conducting the bidding process. Bidders must submit their proposals to their offices by March 2 at 12 PM.
The following day, the opening bids will take place on March 3. Authorities have not yet announced when they will reveal which operators receive authorization to offer online sports betting in Santa Fe. The tender has an international scope.
Authorities established a series of guidelines following the approval of the legal framework for online sports betting in Santa Fe. The process will nto include a limited number of licenses among them. Authorities will grant as many licenses as there are qualified bids. Bids must meet the established technical, legal, and economic requirements.
The procedure, overseen by an Evaluation Committee, will consist of a single stage. This stage will include administrative, technical, and economic evaluations.
Companies awarded licenses will have up to 180 days to implement their platforms. With the possibility of an extension of up to 24 months, the contract will have a duration of 10 years.
Authorities determined that operators must pay a licensing fee of at least 15% of their gross monthly revenue. Authorities calculate the fee based on the total amount wagered minus prizes paid under this framework.
