PointsBet has posted a 15% jump in revenue up to $117.6 million Australian dollars. Sports betting, classic casino games and poker are popular in Australia.
While the turnover or handle dropped 4$ year-on-year to $1.6 billion and the gross win dropped 1$ to $169.7 million, the total net win climbed by 14% to $128.1 million.
The total gross profit of PointBet also rose by 21% from $48.2 million a year ago to $58.5 million.
Total normalized of EBITDA or earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization followed suit with a 71% increase year-on-year to $13.3 million.
An iGaming net win rise of 124% to $9.5 million also steered the company’s results.
PointsBet delivered Australian revenue of $101.7 million up 7% and a record half of the year.
It posted record sports betting and iGaming net win for the half-year in Canada.
It said that ownership of 13 out of 14 United States legal entities have been transferred to Fanatics Betting and Gaming. This is with subsequent completion and receipt of balance and consideration of $50 million US dollars. It is also the second capital distribution on track for completion in early to mid fourth quarter of FY24.
