The Merkur subsidiary is now able to offer Merkur online slots to operators licensed across the iGaming market of Canadian province. The German edict egaming GmbH and Edict Malta Limited have both received approval.

The Gauselmann Group (now Merkur Group) acquired edict egaming, which was established in Hamburg in 1998, in 2008. They launched its game solution in 2014 and underwent a mobile-fist approach the in 2015.
The company launched its aggregator solution in 2021. Last April 2024, edict egaming secured an aggregation agreement with Apparat Gaming, slots supplier.
