Andrea Pirlo, the legendary Italian footballer and current coach of Dubai United, has signed an agreement with Fonbet, a Russian betting company. He will become their new brand ambassador. Fonbet confirmed the partnership in a post on its official Instagram page. This marks the start of their collaboration with the football icon.

Russian media report that Fonbet plans to expand its cooperation with the Paralympic Committee of Russia in the coming years. The company intends to organize six major competitions for Russian athletes with disabilities, covering several sports. These include sled hockey, football for amputees, and sitting volleyball. The initiative aims to promote inclusivity and raise awareness for athletes with disabilities. It also highlights sports as a unifying force.
Sergey Anokhin, General Director of Fonbet, emphasized the importance of this partnership. He noted that it will help rehabilitate veterans and participants of the special military operation through sporting activities. He explained that these events will provide physical recovery and help participants regain confidence and reintegrate into active social life. Anokhin added that Fonbet remains committed to supporting community projects that encourage physical activity and social well-being.
Andrea Pirlo’s involvement adds international prestige to the initiative. A 2006 FIFA World Cup champion and bronze medalist at the 2004 Olympic Games, Pirlo is widely regarded as one of the greatest midfielders of his generation. Renowned for his vision, passing, and set-piece mastery, he holds the Serie A record for the most goals scored from free kicks, with 28. During his illustrious career, he represented top clubs such as AC Milan and Juventus, winning the Champions League, Serie A, and Coppa Italia.
Through this partnership, Fonbet and Pirlo aim to inspire more people to participate in sports. They also seek to promote inclusivity and foster a culture of perseverance and excellence among athletes and fans.
