The Stoke-headquartered operator recorded revenue gains across numerous verticals. However, its strategic shift to regulated and sustainable revenue impacted group profits in 2024-25.

Bet365 reported a 9% year-on-year increase in sports and gaming revenue, reaching £4.036 billion in the 12 months to March 30, 2025. This growth was largely driven by a 25% rise in gaming revenue.
Significant updates to Bet365’s product suite powered gaming gains. Denise Coates, CEO of Bet365, said the team improved UI functionality after they transitioned all gaming products into a central casino vertical accessible across all platforms.
Coates also noted in a Companies House filing Monday that Bet365 enhanced its in-house games recommendation engine and expanded it across more markets during the period.
Supported by new market entries and a successful UEFA Euro 2024 tournament, sports grew 5%.
Sports and gaming operating profit dropped 43% year-on-year to £227.6 million. Profit before tax was down 44% to £348.7 million, largely because of increased costs connected with new market entries, and as one-off restructuring and reorganization cost of £59.2 million. Total administrative costs hit £324.7 million for 2025.
In part because of its fixed assets decreasing by £98.5 million, the operator suffered a loss of £43.3 million because of reported period. This was the result of it offloading its Stoke City Holdings Limited investment.
The sports and gaming segment of Bet365 returned to profit at £626.6 million. This followed a year of heavy improvements and operational streamlining in its 2023-24 results.
Down from £596.3 million in 2023, combined group profit in 2024-25 was £338.5 million.
In its strategic positioning to regulated revenues, the company put its profit decrease down to a considerable pivot.
During the period the operator exited one of its biggest historically grey markets, China. Denise Coates, the CEO, confirmed the strategic shift to majority regulated revenues. She made this statement while introducing the group’s results.
