Blask, a leading analytics provider, has unveiled the results of its debut awards. The launch marks what the company calls the first iGaming award series judged by numbers rather than narratives. Blask introduced the awards as an unbiased benchmarking system to evaluate brands based on measurable performance rather than subjective opinion. Blask states that the goal is to provide a transparent, fully data-driven assessment of the iGaming industry. The awards highlight brands that excel across multiple dimensions of business performance.
Blask determined the rankings using three proprietary metrics designed to reflect brand performance over the previous year. The first metric, the Blask Index, tracks brand activity through search interest, consumer engagement, and overall visibility. The second metric, Brand’s Accumulated Power, measures a brand’s long-term relevance and strength. It combines visibility, consumer interest, and competitive positioning into a single, comprehensive score. The third metric, Competitive Earning Baseline, estimates a brand’s monthly revenue. This allows a direct comparison of financial performance across different markets and geographies.
The inaugural award series included a category focused on global and regional performance. It featured ten distinct awards for brands active across Europe, the Americas, Africa, and Asia. Betano emerged as the standout performer, claiming six awards. Other leading brands, including Betway and Bet365, secured two awards each. Singapore Pools, the state-owned lottery operator operating only in Singapore, also won two awards, showing that strong performance is possible even with a more limited geographic reach.
Blask’s debut awards highlight the growing importance of analytics in iGaming. They give brands and industry stakeholders a clear, objective view of their position in a competitive global market. By relying on hard numbers instead of subjective narratives, the awards aim to set a new standard for transparency, accountability, and measurable achievement in the global iGaming industry.
