To date, the Secretariat has authorized 61 permanent requests and nine provisional ones. This brings the total number of approved companies to 78.
These approvals cover 80 online betting licenses. Of these, authorities granted 71 legally, while courts issued the remaining seven through rulings. In total, they represent 175 brands operating in the market.
While their pending issues are solvable, they must meet all regulatory obligations for full approval. These temporary permits allow companies to continue operations while addressing outstanding compliance matters.
Under Laws No. 13,756 (2018) and No. 14,790 (2023), these concessions grant companies the legal right to offer fixed-odds betting in Brazil.
The licensing process follows the Ordinances of the Secretariat of Prizes and Bets. It is based on SIGAP data, ensuring transparency and compliance with industry standards.
The 12 newly authorized companies and their 30 associated brands include: Blow Marketplace Ltda, Foggo Entertainment Ltda, Futuras Apostas Ltda, B3T4 International Group Ltda, Gamewiz Brasil Ltda, Gorillas Group do Brasil Ltda, World Sports Technology do Brasil S.A., Versus Brasil Ltda, Fast Gaming S.A., Hilgardo Gaming Ltda, Track Gaming Brasil Ltda, and Gamewiz Brasil Ltda.
These latest approvals reflect the continued expansion of Brazil’s regulated gambling sector. As more companies enter the market, consumers gain increased access to legal, secure, and competitive online betting options.
