The previous title sponsor is Assai. From this, Betano takes over. Even though financial details haven’t been disclosed yet officially, reports suggests the deal holds a remarkable value, exceeding $16 million yearly. This shows a substantial increase compared to the past contract with Assai. The three-year agreement is estimated to cost $48 million, strengthening Betano’s foothold in Brazilian football. The company already holds naming rights to the Serie B. It is the second division of Brazilian football. On the other hand, Copa do Brasil is the national cup competition.
