A new deal signed ahead of mobile sports betting rollout in North Carolina this month.

NFL or The National Football League’s Carolina Panthers have named gambling giant FanDuel as its official sports betting partner. The announcement came just days before North Carolina’s legal mobile sports betting market opens.
The March 11 launch date has been confirmed by The North Carolina State Lottery Commission for the state’s mobile sports betting market in January. From March 1, players could register for and fund accounts.
FanDuel will leverage tea marks across its marketing channels in a collaboration with the Panthers both on its digital and social content. The Flutter-owned brand also gets digital signage at Bank of America Stadium. They will hold exclusive fan events at the venue.
New eligible customers in North Carolina will receive access to betting offers on the FanDuel Sportsbook app.
This new partnership allows fans to pre-register on FanDuel Sportsbook app ahead of the market’s go-live date. The sportsbook will also team up with the team on social media content and display signage at the Carolina Panthers’ Bank of America Stadium.
On March 11, the multi-yeal deal comes ahead of the launch of mobile sports betting in North Carolina. It is part of a series of initiatives from FanDuel to engage sports fans throughout the state. North Carolina will become the 22nd state where FanDuel offers mobile sports betting.
The chief commercial officer at FanDuel, Mike Raffensperger said that bringing the operator to North Carolina represented a significant milestone.
Kristi Coleman, the president of the Carolina Panthers, expressed their excitement in welcoming FanDuel as an official sports betting partner. She also added that as they look ahead to the 2024 season, they are excited about the opportunities this partnership presents to deliver unique and engaging experiences to their fans while they are in North Carolina.
