This month, GiG expects to close the Casinomeister acquisition. It says the agreement will have an immediate positive financial impact. GiG adds that this is set to increase going forward when fully implemented into the operations of GiG Media.
Casinomeister will continue to operate under its current brand within the GiG Media portfolio under the deal. For more than 25 years, Casinomeister has been active with GiG saying the purchase will further diversify its business.
GiG added that it will leverage the synergies between GiG Media and Casinomeister. The aim is to achieve similar developments seen with AskGamblers after its accession.
In February 2023, the group purchased AskGamblers. At the end of 2023, it also acquired KaFe Rocks. GiG says this further solidified GiG Media’s commitment to improvement transparency and player services in iGaming by taking on Casinomeister.
Jonas Warrer, CEO of GiG, said that Casinomeister is renowned for its dedication to fair play and community support. This dedication perfectly aligns with their values. He added that this is especially true following their recent acquisition of Askgamblers.com.
He also added that, together, these platforms will enhance their market reach. Additionally, they will optimize the complaint resolution services provided to the community. This will reinforce their position at the forefront of player advocacy.
