Gremio, a Brazilian club, has signed a short-term sponsorship agreement with Energia Bet. The brand will appear on the front of the shirt for the final two matches of the 2025 Brasileirao season. The bookmaker debuted recently in the 1-2 defeat to Fluminense at Arena do Gremio. Moreover, it will also feature in the away match against Sport Recife.

Gremio decided to terminate its sponsorship with AlfaBet, which was originally signed in February and set to run until December 2027. This move led to a short-term agreement with Energia Bet. Reports say AlfaBet was required to pay R$4 million per month ($700,000). However, it failed to make payments from September to November, leaving around R$12 million unpaid or $2.1 million. The club cited these payment issues as the reason for ending the deal.
Energia Bet is part of Grupo Responsa. It will concentrate all of its investment in Rio Grande do Sul exclusively on Gremio. Speaking at the announcement, Estevao Siqueira, CEO of Grupo Responsa said that the company was proud to step in.
He said that the history of Gremio needs no presentation. They are talking about Immortal, a club that never surrenders to the impossible. They are proud to begin this partnership and rely on the strength and passion of Gremio fans. Together, they aim to build a winning journey. Energia has arrived in Rio Grande do Sul and is proud to have chosen the blue side. From now on, they are official supporters of Grêmio.
Aside from the shirt, Energia Bet will appear across digital activations and other marketing assets during the final round of the Brazilian championship.
Grupo Responsa holds a license to operate fixed-odds betting in Brazil and is gearing up for a national expansion strategy ahead of the 2026 World Cup, a peak period for fan engagement. The operator says it has a highly qualified team and follows strict regulatory standards, with a focus on risk prevention and responsible gambling.
