Companies that sponsor or recently sponsored Corinthians submitted their request within the timeframe set by the Ministry of Finance. The ministry has not given a comment yet on the matter.

The Ministry of Finance has excluded Esporte da Sorte and VaideBet from the list of authorized bets allowed to continue operations in Brazil. Last October 1, the Ministry of Finance made the announcement.
Esporte da Sorte sponsors a lot of football clubs. It includes Corinthians, Athletico Paranaense, Náutico, as well as Santa Cruz.
For approximately six months, VaideBet was the main sponsor from January to June of the current year.
Both companies are under investigation by the Civil Police of Pernambuco about an alleged illegal gambling scheme. Deolane Bezerra, the influencer who was recently detained, as well as the singer Gusttavo Lima who was indicted for money laundering and organized crime are also targets of the investigation. Both has denied any wrongdoing.
In January of the following year only will be the regulated online betting market in Brazil take effect. Nevertheless, by offshore registrations, a lot of betting sites are now operating in Brazil.
89 companies has been announced by The Ministry of Finance to be allowed to continue operations until December of this year. Companies had to apply for authorization by September 17 to be included on this list.
Sites not listed by the Ministry of Finance can no longer offer bets on a national level.
The Ministry of Finance stated that for now, these sites will remain online for the next ten days only to facilitate the request for refund of deposited funds by bettors. Starting October 11, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel) will begin taking down these sites.
