The first legal sports betting operator to roll out front-facing artificial intelligence functionality with a program called AceAI is FanDuel. This is as detailed in Tuesday story posted at Forbes.com.

The Flutter Entertainment-owned platform launched its generative AI chat feature that talks to bettors. FanDuel customers can use this feature for research. They can also create their favorite bet slips based on FanDuel’s available betting catalog.
The AI feature is currently available to only about one percent of FanDuel customers. It can only answer questions related to the NFL and NBA. However, there are plans to expand its reach and knowledge base.
One of the leaders in sports betting in United States is FanDuel. A company official stated that the new AI feature reflects FanDuel’s commitment to staying ahead in the industry.
Jon Sadow, FanDuel VP of Product Transformation and Innovation led the development of the product. He told Forbes that, as the leading sportsbook, FanDuel sees an opportunity to set the standard for customer experiences. As a market leader, the company has access to vast amounts of data, which it can provide to customers to help them make informed decisions.
AceAI can answer questions like “How many points did LeBron James score in his last three games?” or “How many touchdowns has Joe Burrow thrown this season?”
It can also understand commands like, “Create a parlay of Lamar Jackson anytime touchdown scorer plus Jayson Tatum 6+ assists.” It then assembles those parlays directly in its interface.
AceAI can also assist in detecting warning signs of problem gambling on the FanDuel sportsbook. If it detects these behavioral patterns, it will direct customers to resources like FanDuel’s responsible gambling site. It will also send an alert to FanDuel employees who monitor problem gambling.
