GAMRS says that Santeda pays minimal tax in the offshore jurisdictions where it operates. This allows the company to reinvest substantial sums into aggressive marketing and retention strategies. Regulated firms operating within licensed markets do not have this advantage.

According to a GAMRS report co-authored by Jordan Lea, CEO of DealMeOut, Santeda International BV—a Curaçao-based operator—and its brands Mystake, Cosmobet, Velobet, Goldenbet, and Rolletto are at the center of a black-market gambling network. The network reportedly generates over £2 billion (around $2.7 billion) annually.
GAMRS, which stands for the Gambling Industry Accreditation, Monitoring & Registration Service, is an independent organization. It works with gambling operators, regulators, and public authorities to keep licensed gambling markets free from illegal influence and unsafe suppliers.
GAMRS collected testimonies as part of the report from 96 customers who had gambled with Santeda brands. These respondents reported losing a combined total of GBP 241,152 or about $322,500 only on the Mystake platform. With United Kingdom players making up 64.8% of the platform’s global traffic, GAMRS estimates Mystake’s annual turnover at £1.2 billion (roughly $1.6 billion). This represents about a third of Santeda’s overall revenue.
Mystake record 3.4 million visits, between August and October 2025, averaging estimably 1.1 million visits monthly. With an average session lasting 22 minutes and 27 seconds and 14.93 pages per visit, United Kingdom also demonstrated the highest engagement.
One individual reported that their gambling spiraled out of control after losing their father. They stated that, even after signing up with Gamstop, they began receiving offers from MyStake and Goldenbet casinos. They spent around GBP 49,300 opr around $66,000 over the course of days, even taking out two large loans. In spite of being informed of their gambling addiction, the individual added that Mystake showed no concern. The platform kept on sending repeated offers to lure them back. According to them, this experience had devastated their life.
