Recently, it announced a strategic collaboration and co-branded technical integration to let developers to build with the technology of the Sequence on zkEVM chain of Immutable.
Immutable is offering a new integration option for Immutable Passport as part of this collaboration. The Embedded Wallet of Sequence powers Immutable Passport. Furthermore, Sequence will add support for the marketplace contracts of Immutable and Orderbook in their in-game marketplace technology. These integrations will enable developers to enhance onboarding and monetization for their titles using gaming-native user journeys and interfaces.
This collaboration brings together two of the most well-recognized leaders focused on the future of gaming. The Immutable ecosystem is the largest in web3 gaming. It also includes over 400 signed games leveraging web3 technology. This is to improve developer economics and reward players. It includes flagship titles such as Gods Unchained, Illuvium, and Guild of Guardians.
Immutable’s CTO, Alex Connolly, said they are excited to enhance the experience for both gamers and developers on Immutable through this partnership with Sequence. This marks a significant step forward for the web3 gaming space, and makes the choice of where to build even simpler for game developers.
Sequence has pioneered web3 game technology since 2017. Moreover, it is the creator of the first account abstraction smart contract wallet; the author of ERC 1155, ERC 1271, ERC 6492. It has seen over $5.3 billion of transactions powered by Sequence technology. The company enables thousands of developers. Its clients include AAA game publishers such as Ubisoft and TapNation. The latter is a mobile game publisher with more than one billion downloads.
Sequence’s CEO, Peter Kieltyka said that Sequence and Immutable have grown up together in web3 gaming from the earliest days of the Industry.
