Police raided an e-gaming office block in the Isle of Man on March 12 and arrested two individuals.

The two arrested individuals have now been released on bail. Police carried out the raid at the offices of Ableton Prestige Global Limited and Amiga Entertainment Limited. Located in the Irish Sea between England and Ireland, the Isle of Man is a self-governing British Crown dependency.

The spokesman added that Isle of Man authorities continue to work together to combat crime. They respond firmly to prevent, identify, and disrupt criminal activity of this nature.
The spokesman stressed that money laundering is not a victimless crime. It can stem from serious offenses such as drug and arms trafficking, human trafficking, environmental crime, modern slavery, bribery, and corruption.
They added that Isle of Man authorities and industries must remain vigilant. All sectors must work to mitigate vulnerabilities that criminals could exploit.
They reaffirmed the Isle of Man’s commitment to disrupting illicit activity. They also emphasized protecting the island, its people, and its financial and non-financial sectors from exploitation.
