Melco Resorts reported a 55 percent year-on-year growth in operating revenue for the first quarter.
Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited has reported US$1.11 billion operating revenue for the first quarter. This is up to 55 per cent in year-on-year terms. The increase in Macau’s inbound tourism drove the growth, attributed to improved performance in all gaming segments and non-gaming operations.
The company reported an operating income of US$125.4 million. This is in comparison to US$0.4 million in the first quarter of last year. The group adjusted property earnings before interest, taxation, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) to US$298.8 million. This is compared with US$190.8 million for the previous year.
City of Dreams reported operating revenue of US$550.9 million for the first quarter. This is up from US$358.3 million in the same period in 2023. Compared with US$94.9 million in the first quarter of 2023, EBITDA was US$153.6 million.
Rolling chip volume was US$5.69 billion. Compared to US$4.04 billion in the first quarter of last year, the rolling chip win rate was 2.23 percent. The mass market table games drop increased to US$1.02 billion from US$552.5 million in 2023. Mass market table games drop increased to US$1.48 billion in the first quarter of this year. A percentage of 31.7 per cent was hold by the mass market table games, compared in the first quarter of last year with 27 per cent.
The gaming machine handle totaled US$890 million, compared to US$655.7 million. The gaming machine rate was 3.1 per cent. The non-gaming revenue of City of Dreams’ in the first quarter was US$80.6 million or US$58.3 million in the first quarter of last year.
Altira Macau‘s operating revenue was uS$34.2 million. This is up from US$23.8 million in the same period in 2023.
