Last October 1, tighter restrictions have come into force. With a focus on deposit limits, concerns gambling online in the Netherlands.

Pop-up messages will appear every 30 minutes to inform players how long they have been playing and to alert them when they reach halfway through their pre-set playing time limit. Additionally, the developers will integrate further messaging into online gameplay.

They must now change this to euros so players can immediately see how much they have bet in real money with the online operators that display balance in points on their slots.
The industry trade association VNLOK, representing licensed Dutch online gambling providers, supports the new measures that protect players.
