PokerStars has added another NHL team to its list of partners. This is as Philadelphia Flyers are partnering with the Flutter Entertainment online poker brand.
PokerStars branding will appear during the Flyers’ home games at the Wells Fargo Center. It will also be visible on TV broadcasts as an official sponsor of the NHL team.
PokerStars players will have a chance to win tickets to games and signed team memorabilia. They can do so through special poker tournaments and monthly sweepstakes on PokerStars Casino.
PokerStars North America’s Senior Director of Commercial, Rob Battista commented that they are thrilled to partner with such a beloved hockey team.
He added that hockey fans are among the most passionate in the world. He said they can’t wait to work with the team to bring exciting tournaments and rewards to communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
PokerStars also partners with the Detroit Red Wings in Michigan and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment in Ontario. Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment owns the Toronto Maple Leafs (NHL) and the Toronto Raptors (NBA). This means the Flyers are not the only NHL team PokerStars has collaborated with.
Comcast Spectator’s Chief Revenue Officer, Todd Glickman added that they’re excited to welcome PokerStars to the Flyers family.
He also said that their dedication to innovation and giving epic rewards and experiences to their players aligns perfectly with their goals on engaging their fantastic community of fans.
