FanDuel has announced a live dealer experience with Rob Gronkowski, a four-time NFL Superbowl winner.
This will be available for FanDuel players in New Jersey. Bettors who join the casino roulette table on the platform will be greeted by the ex-New England Patriots & Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end, and legendary partner to Tom Brady – Gronkowski.
By responding to the comments in the chat box, Gronkowski will also be able to communicate with players. This makes it the first instance in which a celebrity will be able to interact with players in a virtual live-dealer setting.
This is not the first time Gronkowski has teamed up with FanDuel. The two have partnered already before on two “Kick of Destiny” campaigns. Players bet on Gronkowski to either make or not make a single kick in order to win a portion of the $10 million prize pool, taking place at the Super Bowl.
Before returning to Superbowl LVIII, he missed the kick the first time. Rob Gronkowski stated that he is going to show America he can make that kick.
Last month, FanDuel also released their first quarter financial results for this year. A rise in its gross gaming revenue market share to 27% has been reported by the sportsbook. It brings above BetMGM to make it the US market leader in sports betting and iGaming.
Somewhere else, FanDuel also released its sports betting platform in Washington, DC. This move and the Gronkowski campaigns solidifies the brand recognition more across the North American market.
