Pavel Durov is facing multiple serious accusations. This includes those related to organized crime and terrorism.

The founder and CEO of Rumble, Chris Pavlovski said he had left Europe. This follow the previous arrest of Pavel Durov, CEO of Telegram. Rumble is a free-speech friendly alternative to mainstream platforms such as YouTube.
Recently, Pavlovski announced on X, “I’m a little late to this, but for good reason — I’ve just safely departed from Europe.”
He added that French authorities had shown their intent to take legal action against Rumble. The platform had previously blocked access to French users after facing demands to censor Russian news sources. Rumble is recognized for its strong focus on free speech.
Pavlovski believes the French government has exceeded a boundary in its actions targeting Durov. He faces accusations of not censoring content on the platform. He stated that Rumble will use legal means to defend the right to free speech. They consider this a universal human right.
Pavlovski stated that Rumble will not stand for this behavior and will use every legal means available to fight for freedom of expression, a universal human right. They are currently fighting in the courts of France, and they hope for Pavel Durov’s immediate release.
Durov’s recent arrest in France sent the tech world into a frenzy. He has charged linked to an alleged non-cooperation with law enforcement of Telegram.
French authorities have accused the popular messaging app of facilitating illegal activities such as drug trafficking, terrorism promotion, and fraud due to its lack of content moderation. Durov could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted of the charges.
The French authorities are still conducting a preliminary investigation and have not yet brought formal charges against Durov.
