Online bookmaker Superbet replaces on Sao Paulo FC. Superbet is a newcomer to the Brazilian market and it has become the club’s new sponsor on a three-year deal from 2024 to 2026. On the other hand, Sao Paulo FC is one of Brazil’s most popular football clubs.
Eduardo Toni is Sao Paulo FC’s executive director of marketing. He said that they are announcing a super partner, which is Superbet. It is a global giant, who understands the importance of Sao Paulo to introduce its brand to the national market. This also shows that they are working in the right direction, internationalizing the brand, and bringing another company from abroad to their master sponsorship.
Alexandre Fonseca also commented about this. He is Superbet’s CEO. He thanks Sao Paulo, Eduardo Toni, and their entire team for working tirelessly to carry out this sponsorship.
He also added that when they, at Superbet decided to enter the Brazilian market, they thought of different ways to do it. But among hundreds of clubs in Brazil, there is only one super champion. And that is a club that is the champion of everything, which is why Sao Paulo was a natural choice.
Sao Paulo is one of the most successful teams in Brazil with 22 state titles. Alongside this, it is also one of the two clubs to have never been relegated from the top division.
The sponsorship deal occurs simultaneously with the recent appointment of Josh Hayes. Hayes is Superbet’s new head of commercial for Brazil.
He spend more than seven years at Flutter Entertainment. Most recently, he served as senior commercial manager for Betfair Brazil and Italy.
