The national police of Indonesia have uncovered an international online gambling network. It was operating across numerous regions of the country and is connected to a group of gambling websites. These include T6 and 1xBet.

The Directorate of General Crime is part of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police (Bareskrim Polri). It said Subdirectorate III Jatanras led the operation. The team arrested numerous suspects across several provinces.
Wira Satya, Brigadier General and Director of General Crime at the National Police, stated that the crackdown reflects the authorities’ commitment to eliminating online gambling. This action aligns with government policy.
According to Wira Satya, uncovering this international online gambling network demonstrates the National Police’s commitment to following the orders of President Prabowo Subianto and National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo. Their goal is to eradicate online gambling.
He added that this crime not only violates the law, but also has a wide social impact and harms society.
The police said the network managed numerous gambling sites, including T6.com, WE88, and PWC (Play With Confidence). It also operated websites linked to the 1xBet network. Investigators stated that the network has connections across Asia, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
The case stems from police reports received between August and December of the previous year. It was followed by coordinated enforcement actions across the country. Authorities conducted raids in Pamekasan Regency in Madura, Tangerang City in Banten, multiple areas of Jakarta, and Cianjur Regency in West Java.
During the operation, investigators arrested dozens of suspects accused of various roles within the network. The arrests included site owners, managers, and financial administrators. They also targeted providers of operational bank accounts, payment gateway operators, and individuals suspected of involvement in money laundering.
