Tipico, a German sports betting operator, has completed the trifecta in Germany. It secured a collaboration with 3.Liga until the end of the 2027/28 season.

The operator already has a long-running collaboration with the DFL (Deutsche Fußball Liga). This partnership covers the two top tiers of professional football. It now adds the German third tier to its collaboration portfolio.
The Tipico logo will appear alongside the league logo on club kit sleeves and in TV-relevant stadium perimeter advertising. The deal takes effect on July 1. It also includes exclusive central advertising rights in the German third division.
Chair of the DFB or German Football Association, Dr Holger Blask, said that this good news rounds off an outstanding year in the 3. Liga, full of record attendances, and underscores the league’s popularity. Tipico is a strong and reliable partner, making it a perfect fit. Together, they want to continue their extensive efforts to promote responsible sports betting.
He added that for many years, the DFB has aligned with the goals set out in the State Treaty on Gambling. This treaty permits betting offers only from state-approved providers that comply with legal requirements. In this context, promoting regulated offerings and effectively combating the black market are crucial to preserving the integrity of the game and protecting players.
Tipico’s director of marketing and brand, Kajetan Strini-Brown added that the 3. Liga is pure football: packed houses, passionate battles, hope, and fear – making it a perfect fit for Tipico. They are excited to collaborate and further enhance the league’s attractiveness and visibility.
He added that for them, the 3. Liga is the logical extension of their commitment to German football. It now makes them a partner of all professional competitions. They have been working with the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga for many years and have also been a partner of the DFB for a year.
