The UAE has awarded Gaming Related Vendor licenses to Scientific Games and Random State. These companies are the latest businesses to receive this recognition.

The GCGRA or General Commercial Gaming Regulatory approved the two international gaming technology groups to offer their services to the budding lottery market of Middle East state. This takes the total number of suppliers licensed by the authority to nine.
Slot machine manufacturers and payment providers recently approved vendors. Among them are IGT Global Services, Novomatic and Aristocrat Technologies Europe.
In 2023, the UAE established the GCGRA to create the regulatory framework for the gambling, national lottery, and commercial gaming markets. In June 2024, it awarded the only lottery license of the nation to The Game LLC. Later in the previous year, the GCGRA awarded Wynn Resorts the first commercial land-based casino gaming license of the UAE.
Scientific Games is already present in 50 nations. It welcomed the opportunity to offer its lottery products and services in the UAE market.
Michael Conforti, President of International Business for Scientific Games, said they are extremely pleased. He added that Scientific Games has been authorized as a lottery supplier in the UAE with this license.
He added that they look forward to using their more than 50 years of expertise in the UAE. They aim to offer high-performing products that will responsibly drive revenue for lottery programs supporting local communities and national projects.
Random State, headquartered in Sweden, offers real-money eInstant games and bespoke digital lottery products. It sees strong opportunities in the UAE.
Random State’s co-founder and chief operating officer, Adam Fonsica, said that the UAE has the potential to become one of the world’s most dynamic digital-lottery markets. Earning the GCGRA’s trust is a major milestone for them. They’re eager to introduce their gamified eInstants and custom draw games to local players later this year.
