X Games, a prominent action sports event has announced a global collaboration with Stake, an online gaming giant. The deal names the operator as the Exclusive Online Casino and Sports Betting Partner of XGL. XGL, or X Games League, is a new season format.
X Games called the collaboration a historic partnership. It marks a significant evolution for the brand as it prepares to launch the X Games League. The deal also aims to leverage Stake’s position in the online casino and sports betting sector. This will help reach a wider, digitally native, global audience.
As the exclusive partner, Stake will provide real-time integrated wagering odds for X Games events. ALT Sports Data, X Games’ betting data partner, will supply these odds.
The agreement highlights global coverage for all four XGL events each year. Stake-owned streaming service Kick.com will live-stream the upcoming Winter X Games in Aspen. Broadcasters will feature real-time odds provided by Alt Sports Data.
Stake and Kick.com will also serve as the exclusive home of betting, as well as live streaming of both the Summer and Winter XGL Drafts. A new Athlete Ambassador Fund will also support X Games athletes in making exclusive, co-branded content for the global community.
Chief Revenue Officer at X Games, Cherie Cohen, said that partnering with Stake is a monumental step in building the next generation of X Games. They are officially open for gaming and betting, giving their fans with the adrenaline-fueled engagement they crave.
She also said that this goes beyond sponsorship; the partnership strategically aligns their business as they scale the X Games League globally. With Alt Sports Data’s expertise and Stake’s reach, they are ready to redefine the fan experience, starting in Aspen.
